Who I Work With
You are not alone. If you are a suffering and in need of some support please get in touch
I work with adults providing individual counselling covering a wide range of experiences. Below are some areas I work with, but if you don't see your exact situation here, please don't let that stop you getting in touch.
-
If your mind rarely switches o$, or anxiety has started shaping your choices, I offer a calm, unhurried space to slow down and understand what sits underneath it, without judgement or being told to just relax.
-
Some days, getting through feels like too much. I work with people experiencing low mood or depression, offering space for how you feel and understanding rather than a checklist of things to try.
-
Some of what shapes us happened a long time ago, a difficult childhood, an unsafe relationship, an experience you've never quite put into words. I offer trauma-informed, person-centred support for exploring the past at your pace.
-
Becoming a parent, changing careers, moving, a relationship ending or beginning or maybe a milestone birthday.
Big changes can unsettle even the parts of us that felt solid before. I offer a steady space to process what's shifting, without rushing you toward feeling "okay" again before you're ready.
-
Pregnancy, birth and the early days (and years) of parenthood can bring up things nobody warns you about: anxiety, grief, a shifting sense of identity, overwhelm, or simply not feeling the way you expected to feel.
I offer person centred support for anyone finding this stage harder than they anticipated.
-
If food, eating, or how you feel in your body has become difficult or exhausting, I offer a compassionate space to explore it without judgement.
-
Doubting yourself, comparing to others, feeling like you're performing a version of yourself that isn't quite you. This is often what sits beneath the more obvious struggles, all of you is welcome here.
-
Not everyone who comes to therapy is in crisis. Some people want to understand themselves better, feel more grounded, or have a space that's entirely their own. That's a completely valid reason to be here.
